The Czartoryski Museum in Puławy, located in the Czartoryski Palace, was established in 2009 and has operated as an independent institution since 2017, after being separated from the Nadwiślańskie Museum. Its exhibition focuses on the history and activities of the Czartoryski family in the 18th and 19th centuries, showcasing a rich collection of artifacts related to prominent members of the dynasty, such as Adam Kazimierz Czartoryski and his wife Izabela. The museum also features items connected to their children and grandchildren, highlighting the family's significance in Polish history and culture of that era.
The Czartoryski Palace, which houses the museum, is an architecturally significant building, distinguished by its elegant interiors, including the Hall of Tradition, Stone Hall, Gothic Hall, and Knights' Hall, as well as an impressive staircase. Until 2015, the museum acquired new exhibits through the Princes Czartoryski Foundation, gathering valuable collections previously displayed in the Temple of the Sibyl and the Gothic House. Since 2017, the director of the institution has been Honorata Mielniczenko, who continues to develop the museum as an important cultural center in the region.
An interesting fact is that the museum's collections not only illustrate the historical aspects of the Czartoryskis' lives but also their influence on Polish culture and art, attracting numerous tourists and history enthusiasts.
