The Europejski Hotel in Krakow

The Europejski Hotel in Kraków is a three-story building located in the city center at 5 Lubicz Street, near the Main Railway Station. It was founded in 1884 by Jan Kazimierz Lubicz Łapiński, making it one of Kraków's historic hotels. Originally intended as accommodation for guests, the hotel gradually expanded to include a restaurant, a theater and ballroom, and a carriage house. In 1966, the hotel was taken over by the state, which led to its deterioration under the management of the Municipal Hotels Directorate and the Kraków Tourism Enterprise Wawel-Tourist. After many years of neglect, on May 23, 1991, the hotel was returned to Maria Lubicz Łapińska-Czepczyk, the founder's granddaughter. Following a comprehensive renovation, the property was restored and is now managed by her son, Jacek Czepczyk. Today, the hotel offers 87 accommodations across 41 rooms, along with a range of additional services, including a restaurant, café, enchanted garden, billiards club, ballroom, and conference facilities. The Europejski Hotel combines rich history, architecture, and modern amenities, making it an attractive destination for tourists visiting Kraków.
