The Lighthouse Miniature Park in Niechorze, as a branch of the Lower Silesian Heritage Miniature Park in Kowary, is a unique place that combines architecture, history, and culture related to lighthouses. It was opened on May 19, 2012, and features 29 miniature lighthouses at a 1:10 scale, all of which represent functioning structures located along the Polish Baltic Sea coast. The miniatures are meticulously crafted from materials resistant to various weather conditions, allowing them to blend seamlessly into the park's beautiful surroundings with colorful floral arrangements. Among the displayed models are both contemporary and historical lighthouses, including those in Krynica Morska, Gdańsk, Sopot, Gdynia Oksywie, Hel, Ustka, and Kołobrzeg, as well as structures known from their heyday that are now in ruins or inaccessible to visitors. The park also features models that transport visitors back in time, showcasing pre-war Krynica Morska. An interesting highlight is the presence of lighthouses from Antarctica and Hornsund on Spitsbergen, emphasizing the global nature of maritime structures. The park not only impresses with its architectural value but also serves as an important educational resource, sharing knowledge about the history and significance of lighthouses in navigation. It is undoubtedly a place that combines a passion for history and a love of architecture, offering visitors unforgettable experiences and a fascinating glimpse into this important part of Poland's cultural heritage.
