Trojanów is a rural commune located in the Masovian Voivodeship, within Garwolin County, with its administrative seat in the village of Trojanów. The commune covers an area of 151.01 km², of which 69% is agricultural land and 24% is forested. Between 1975 and 1998, the commune was part of the Siedlce Voivodeship. The demographics of the commune are quite interesting; in 2004, the population was 7,827, while by 2019 it had decreased to 7,299. The commune is divided into several village districts (sołectwa), including Babice, Budziska, Dębówka, Trojanów, and others. It is also worth noting that there are villages within the commune that do not have the status of a village district, such as Mościska. It borders several other communes, such as Kłoczew, Maciejowice, and Ryki, forming a culturally and historically diverse area. Despite its small size, the commune of Trojanów reflects the richness of the Polish countryside, with preserved traditions and local folklore, which is an important aspect of its identity.
