Trzcianne is a rural commune in the Podlaskie Voivodeship, located in the Mońki County. The administrative seat of the commune is the town of Trzcianne. Between 1975 and 1998, the commune was part of the Łomża Voivodeship. Its proximity to the Biebrza National Park endows the region with beautiful landscapes and rich fauna and flora. The commune covers an area of 331.64 km², of which 43% is agricultural land and 22% is forested. It occupies 23.99% of the area of Mońki County. As of June 30, 2018, Trzcianne had a population of 4,333 inhabitants. According to the 1921 National Census, the commune had 7,783 residents, indicating significant demographic changes over the years.
