wikipedia
Trzeboś is a village located in the Podkarpackie Voivodeship, within Rzeszów County, characterized by a rich history dating back to the 16th century. Established on lands cleared from the Sandomierz Forest, it was historically associated with the Stadnicki family and changed owners multiple times, passing through various administrative divisions. In 1786, it was purchased by Benedykt Grabiński, and in the 19th century, its owner was Jan Władysław Zamoyski. Trzeboś is home to the Church of Divine Providence from 1887, listed in the register of historical monuments, featuring Baroque crucifixes and 19th-century organs. The village hosts cultural life centered mainly around the parish and a local folk ensemble, as well as activities organized by the Volunteer Fire Department. Trzeboś is known for its sports activities – the local club Styrobud Trzeboś operates here. The village also has three primary schools and a public middle school, which collaborate in the field of education. During World War II, Trzeboś was a center of resistance, where various underground organizations were active. The modern village develops while preserving its traditions, and its natural attractions include picturesque forests and the Trzebośnica River. An interesting fact is that in 2001, a copy of a painting by Rubens was discovered in the church, and during the administrative reform of 1999, the village was incorporated into Rzeszów County, highlighting its regional significance. A blue tourist trail runs through Trzeboś, attracting nature lovers and hiking enthusiasts.
