Trzydnik Duży is a rural commune in the Kraśnik County, Lublin Voivodeship, with its administrative seat located in the village of Trzydnik Duży. It was established from the former Olbięcin commune and was known as the Trzydnik commune until 1954. The commune covers an area of 104.73 km², of which 87% is agricultural land and 7% is forested, making it an area with significant agricultural value. In 2020, Trzydnik Duży had a population of 6,390 people, reflecting the local community's needs to maintain and develop rural culture. The commune comprises several village administrations, including Olbięcin, Wola Trzydnicka, and Trzydnik Mały, as well as several individual settlements such as Dąbrowa-Choiny and Dębiszczyzna.
