Repki is a rural commune located in the Masovian Voivodeship, within Sokołów County, with its administrative seat in a locality of the same name. From 1975 to 1998, the commune was part of the Siedlce Voivodeship. As of June 30, 2004, the commune had a population of 5,881 inhabitants and covered an area of 168.79 km², of which approximately 80% was agricultural land and 15% was forested. The commune is an important part of the county, accounting for 14.92% of its total area. The mayors of the commune have held various roles, starting with Marek Sawicki from 1990 to 1996, followed by Krystyna Mikołajczuk-Bohowicz (1996–2018), and the current mayor, Apolonia Stasiuk, who took office in 2018. The commune is divided into numerous village districts, including Baczki, Bohy, Czaple-Andrelewicze, and Repki, as well as the locality of Bałki, which is not a village district. The commune is surrounded by neighboring communes such as Bielany, Drohiczyn, Jabłonna Lacka, and others, fostering cooperation and cultural exchange. Architecturally, the commune features typical rural buildings that reflect the local lifestyle and traditions. An interesting aspect is the diversity of its village districts, which highlights the richness of local culture and history.
