Two women

The sculpture "Two Women" by Sylwester Ambroziak is located in Sołacki Park in Poznań, in its northern part. "Two Women" has been compared to the works of Antoni Rząsa and Stanisław Kulon. The sculpture is not marked with a title plate or the author's details, which encourages diverse interpretations. Its presence in public space has drawn criticism, including from the chairwoman of the Sołacz Housing Estate, Danuta Kańska, and the object has been splashed with paint on several occasions. Near the sculpture, there are other interesting elements, such as the Church of St. John Vianney, a tram waiting shelter, and Orawski Square, making this area an attractive place to visit for both art enthusiasts and tourists. "Two Women" is an important part of Poznań's contemporary culture, serving as an example of art that evokes emotions and encourages reflection on the role of sculpture in public space.
