The university offers a wide range of education across four colleges: Medical Sciences, Media and Social Communication, Applied Computer Science, and Management, providing 13 undergraduate and graduate degree programs, as well as postgraduate and doctoral studies. From its inception, UITM has introduced modern solutions, such as the electronic student ID, and has been involved in international language certifications and IT training. The institution has achieved academic status, holding 47 educational authorizations, including the right to award doctoral degrees in the field of social communication and media sciences. Over its 25-year history, UITM has received numerous awards and accreditations, including first place in the Polish U-Multirank 2022 and a high position in the UI GreenMetric, reflecting its commitment to sustainable development. Research activities cover diverse scientific areas such as artificial intelligence, medicine, and bioinformatics. Interestingly, 55% of the university's revenue comes from non-teaching activities, which is a unique model in the country. Additionally, UITM actively participates in the cultural life of the region by organizing various events, such as popular science lecture series.
