Władysławów, formerly known as the Russocice Commune, is a rural municipality located in the Greater Poland Voivodeship, within Turek County. From 1975 to 1998, the municipality belonged to the Konin Voivodeship. The administrative seat of the municipality is the town of Władysławów, which took over this role from Russocice. According to data from June 30, 2004, the municipality was inhabited by 7,763 people. It covers an area of 90.71 km², of which 66% is agricultural land and 21% is forested. Władysławów accounts for a significant portion of the county's area, amounting to 9.76%. Demographically, the municipality has a diverse age structure among its residents, as illustrated by the 2014 population pyramid. In terms of fire safety, numerous Volunteer Fire Department units operate in the area, including those in Chylin, Jabłonna, Kuny, Małoszyna, Międzylesie, Milinów, Natalia, Polichno, Skarbki, Władysławów, and Wyszyna. The municipality borders other local government units such as Brudzew, Kościelec, Krzymów, Tuliszków, and Turek, fostering regional cooperation. Thanks to its location and rich natural environment, Władysławów is a place where rural traditions and local culture play a significant role in the daily lives of its residents.
