wikipedia
The seaport of Władysławowo, located on the Baltic Sea in the Pomeranian Voivodeship, is a typical fishing port that also serves sailing and passenger functions. Its construction in 1938 contributed to changes in seawater circulation and the erosion of the Hel Peninsula. The port is managed by the company "Szkuner" Ltd., and its infrastructure includes two breakwaters, quays, a repair shipyard, and a maritime border crossing. In 2006, the port handled 152 vessels, and the total length of the quays was 341 meters. It also houses fish processing plants and a fishmeal factory, along with access to rescue infrastructure, including a coastal rescue station. In 2020, a mural depicting the history of Władysławowo was unveiled in the port, adding to its cultural landscape. It is worth noting that the port is also a site for repair work on less conventional vessels, and its history dates back to 1936 when construction began. Named in honor of King Władysław IV, the port has been open to tourists since 1994 and remains an important fishing center in the region.
