wikipedia
The hiking trails in the Beskid Wyspowy Mountains offer a variety of routes that attract hiking enthusiasts. The yellow trail from Tymbark leads through the picturesque foothills of Łopień and Mogielica, with a hiking time to Krzystonów of 6 hours and 30 minutes. For more experienced hikers starting from Przysłop Pass, this time is reduced to 2 hours and 20 minutes. Two green trails also lead to Krzystonów—from Półrzeczki and the hamlet of Białe in Szczawa—with hiking times of 1 hour 30 minutes and 1 hour 15 minutes respectively, making them ideal for families and less experienced hikers. An important point in the region is the Polana Wały tent base, located in the heart of the largest forest complex of the Beskid Wyspowy Mountains. It offers accommodation for individual tourists and organized groups. Managed by the Student Circle of Beskid Guides, the base is open only during the summer season, providing basic amenities and the possibility to pitch your own tent. Tourists are offered mattresses, sleeping bags, hot tea, and access to a tourist kitchen and campfire area. The base is situated slightly off the main trail, which encourages relaxation in peace, surrounded by nature. An interesting fact is the presence of numerous wild blueberries on the surrounding clearings, especially on the Stumorgi clearing on Mogielica, which attracts lovers of forest fruits. The yellow tourist trail runs along the ridge from Mogielica through Krzystonów to Jasień, and a directional arrow along its route makes it easy to reach the base. In the region, one can appreciate both the beauty of natural landscapes and the excellent tourist infrastructure, creating a friendly place for every mountain hiking enthusiast.
