War Cemetery No. 302 in Żegocina is an important monument from the period of World War I, designed by Franz Stark. It is located in the parish cemetery in the village of Żegocina, in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship, Bochnia County, Żegocina Commune. It is one of over 400 Western Galician war cemeteries established by the Department of War Graves of the Imperial and Royal Military Command in Krakow. The cemetery covers an area of approximately 1,950 m² and is in good condition. The central point of the cemetery is a monument stylized as an altar, topped with a cross, featuring a plaque with an inscription in German. The cemetery contains 109 individual graves and 54 mass graves, where 276 soldiers who fell in 1914 are buried. Most of the fallen are Russian soldiers, as well as Austrians and Germans. Particularly interesting is the fact that the cemetery contains one grave with a photograph, which is a rarity in such sites. The cemetery holds not only architectural value but also cultural and historical significance, serving as a testimony to the tragic events of World War I and local history.
