Żegocina Commune, located in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship, Bochnia County, is a place rich in history, culture, and architecture. The seat of the commune, Żegocina, is nestled in the picturesque valley of the Sanka Stream, surrounded by hills – Kamionna, Łopusze, and Żarnówka. Among its historical monuments are the Gothic wooden Church of St. James the Apostle in Rozdziele from 1563, the manor complex in Łąkta Górna, and the Church of St. Nicholas the Bishop in Żegocina, which houses valuable exhibits, including an 18th-century pulpit.
