Warszewskie Hills

The Warszewskie Hills are moraine elevations located in Szczecin and the Police County, with the highest point at Wielecka Mountain (131 meters above sea level). The northern part of the hills is covered by the Wkrzańska Forest, offering numerous hiking trails, while the southern part is more urbanized, dominated by single-family housing. Characteristic of this area are numerous stream valleys, such as Osówka and Arkonka, and steep slopes leading down to the Odra Valley, making the hills attractive viewpoints with panoramas encompassing the Bukowe Hills, the Goleniowska Plain, and Lake Dąbie. The name "Warszewskie Hills" derives from the Warszewo district, which lies within the city limits. Within the hills, the Przęsocińskie Plateau and the Warszewskie Plateau are distinguished, highlighting their geographical diversity. The region features many viewpoints, such as Uroczysko Skolwin or Arkońskie Hill, which attract nature and tourism enthusiasts.
