The Wdzydze Landscape Park, located in the heart of Kashubia, is a picturesque area covering 178.32 km², surrounded by forests and lakes, among which Lake Wdzydze stands out. The park is known for its remarkable diversity of vegetation – dominated by fresh and reindeer lichen pine forests, with the presence of peat bogs and various types of forests, such as acidophilous oakwood or alder-ash riparian forests. The park also includes numerous nature reserves, including "Krwawe Doły," as well as planned reserves aimed at protecting valuable ecosystems like peat bogs and lakes. Within the park, 21 natural monuments have been identified, including the planned "Beech Forest in the Głuchy Bór Forest District," which testifies to the natural richness of this place. Tourist attractions include trails such as the Stone Circles Trail and the Kashubian Trail, which attract nature lovers and enthusiasts of Kashubian culture. It is worth adding that the Wdzydze Landscape Park is not only a place of beautiful landscapes but also an important point in the history and tradition of the region, where one can discover local beliefs and customs related to the history of Kashubia. An interesting fact is that Lake Wdzydze is considered one of the deepest in Poland, making it an interesting place for both scientists and tourists.
