The commune of Biała, located in the Łódź Voivodeship, in the Wieluń County, has its seat in the town of Biała Druga, which until the end of 2017 was simply called Biała. Formerly known as the commune of Naramice, it covers an area of 74.99 km², with agricultural land predominating, accounting for 88% of the total area. In 2004, the commune had a population of 5,498, which decreased to 5,440 by 2019. The commune consists of numerous village districts, including Biała-Kopiec, Janowiec, Kopydłów, and Naramice, as well as various rural settlements, highlighting its rural character. Architecturally, the region is typical of Polish villages, with single-family homes, farm buildings, and local chapels and churches. Culturally, the commune of Biała preserves folk traditions and organizes local events that foster community integration.
