Wieczfnia Kościelna

The commune of Wieczfnia Kościelna, with its seat in a locality of the same name, is a rural commune located in the Masovian Voivodeship, in Mława County. Its name has been changed over time – until 1954, it was known as the commune of Mława, and between 1975 and 1998, it was administratively part of the Ciechanów Voivodeship. The commune covers an area of 119.81 km², and according to data from June 30, 2004, it was inhabited by 4,188 people. The land use structure indicates that 79% is agricultural land, and 15% is forested, highlighting the region's agricultural character. The commune consists of numerous village districts, including Bąków, Bonisław, Długokąty, and Wieczfnia-Kolonia.
