Wiskitki is an urban-rural municipality located in the Masovian Voivodeship, within the Żyrardów County, with the town of Wiskitki serving as its administrative seat. The municipality was formed through the merger of the former Żyrardów-Wiskitki and Guzów communes. Between 1975 and 1998, it belonged to the Skierniewice Voivodeship. Wiskitki gained town rights on January 1, 2021, which changed its status from a rural to an urban-rural municipality. In 2013, the population of the municipality was 9,829. The total area of Wiskitki is 150.94 km², of which 72% is agricultural land and 20% is forested. The municipality covers 28.34% of the area of Żyrardów County. The demographic structure of the municipality includes various villages such as Aleksandrów, Guzów, and Hipolitów, as well as smaller settlements that contribute to the region's diverse character. Wiskitki is bordered by neighboring municipalities, including Baranów, Jaktorów, and Żyrardów.
