wikipedia
Wola Gutowska is a village located in the Masovian Voivodeship, within the Jedlińsk commune, characterized by dispersed single-family and farmstead buildings. It lies in close proximity to National Road No. 7 and is situated on the picturesque Radom Plain, in the region of the South Masovian Uplands. Significant geographical features include the Radomka and Radomka Młyńska rivers flowing through the area, as well as a flood risk zone associated with the nearby dam of the Domaniów Lake reservoir. The history of Wola Gutowska dates back to the Middle Ages – the first records of the settlement come from 1471 and are linked to the Półkozic family. In later years, the village underwent various changes in ownership, including being held by Stanisław Witowski. In the 18th century, during the Napoleonic Wars, the Battle of Jedlińsko-Jankowice took place here. In 1881, the village had 31 houses and 207 inhabitants. The infrastructure of Wola Gutowska includes a group water supply system, a sewage network, and access to natural gas. In 2014, a publicly accessible sports and recreation facility was established. Agriculture remains an important sector of the economy, with specialized farms engaged in greenhouse vegetable cultivation. The village's demographics indicate a population of 339 in 2011, with the working-age group being dominant. An interesting fact is the proposal to increase administrative unity with Jedlińsk by merging part of Wola Gutowska with that village, which could impact the future functionality of the area.
