Jedlińsk is a rural municipality located in the Masovian Voivodeship, in the Radom County, with its seat in the town of Jedlińsk. Historically known as the Jedlanka Commune until 1870, it is situated in the southern part of the voivodeship, along the E77 route on the Radomka River. The municipality borders the city of Radom and the communes of Głowaczów, Jastrzębia, Stara Błotnica, Stromiec, and Zakrzew. According to data from 2015, the municipality was inhabited by 14,219 people. Within its area lies the Radom-Piastów Airport, which is a significant infrastructural element. The municipality covers an area of 138.72 km², with a predominance of agricultural land (79%) and forests (12%). The Jedlińsk Commune constitutes 9.07% of the area of Radom County. In the towns of the municipality, important institutions such as the Municipal Office, Post Office, Cooperative Bank, and Municipal Sports and Recreation Center can be found. Schools and cultural institutions, including the Culture Center and Library, play an important role in social life. The municipality is home to six parish churches and several volunteer fire departments, reflecting active local community life. Architecturally, three palace and park complexes located in Jedlanka, Wsola, and Piastów stand out and can serve as interesting tourist attractions. Among the administrative villages of the municipality are places such as Jedlanka, Piastów, Stare Zawady, and Wsola. It is worth noting that Jedlińsk has rich local and cultural traditions and a diversity experienced by various social groups.
