X Swoszowice District

X Swoszowice District, an auxiliary unit of the Kraków municipality, was established from a separated part of the Podgórze district before 1990. In 2006, a lower-level auxiliary unit was established here—the Swoszowice Health Resort Neighborhood—highlighting the area's spa character, attracting residents and tourists seeking the health benefits of its natural resources. The district's boundaries are defined by adjacent areas with District VIII (Dębniki) and District IX (Łagiewniki-Borek Fałęcki), underscoring its strategic location.
