Zbójna Commune, located in the Podlaskie Voivodeship, Łomża County, has its seat in the village of Zbójna. Until 1954, it was known as Gawrychy Commune, and between 1975 and 1998, it was part of the Łomża Voivodeship. According to data from June 30, 2004, Zbójna Commune had a population of 4,358 and covered an area of 185.77 km², of which agricultural land accounted for 50% and forests for 45%. The commune constitutes 13.72% of the total area of Łomża County. Within the commune, there are numerous villages, such as Bienduszka, Dębniki, Gawrychy, Kuzie, and Zbójna.
