Zbójnicki Table

Zbójnicki Stół is a small sandstone rock pulpit located on the northern ridge of Mogielica in the Beskid Wyspowy Mountains, near a hiking trail between the Wyśnikówka clearing and the summit of Mogielica. The name of the place refers to a legend according to which robbers counted their stolen money here, which they later hid in the Marszałkowa Studnia cave. The valuable treasures were said to be well protected by two rifles. The stories associated with this rock are an important part of the local folk culture, attracting tourists and history enthusiasts. Mogielica, where Zbójnicki Stół is located, has its own bandit past; one of the most famous robbers was Józef Baczyński, who hid in this area for some time. Zbójnicki Stół is situated within the village of Chyszówki in Lesser Poland, in the Limanowa County, making it part of the region's rich cultural heritage.
