The commune of Zduny, located in the Łódź Voivodeship, in the Łowicz County, has undergone various administrative changes, including being part of the Bąków commune until 1953 and belonging to the Skierniewice Voivodeship between 1975 and 1998. The seat of the commune, Zduny, is surrounded by picturesque landscapes, largely used as agricultural land (91% of the commune's area of 128.55 km²), highlighting the region's agricultural character.
