Błonie

Błonie is an urban-rural municipality in the Masovian Voivodeship, within the West Warsaw County, with the town of Błonie serving as its administrative seat. Historically, the area was part of the Pass and Radzików communes. Between 1975 and 1998, the municipality belonged to the Warsaw Voivodeship. As of June 30, 2004, Błonie had a population of 19,696 and covered an area of 85.84 km², with agricultural land dominating, accounting for 86% of its territory. The demographics of Błonie in 2014 were diverse, as reflected in the age pyramid of its residents. The municipality includes numerous village administrative units, such as Białutki, Bieniewice, and Konstantów, as well as settlements without such status, like Cesinek or Radzików. It is worth emphasizing that Błonie boasts a rich residential infrastructure, with housing estates such as Karczewskiego and Legionów. The municipality borders many neighboring communes, which influences its regional and cultural development.
