Boguty-Pianki is a rural commune located in the Masovian Voivodeship, within Ostrów County, with its seat in the village of Boguty-Pianki. Historically known as the Kamieńczyk Wielki commune, it operated under that name during the Second Polish Republic until 1954. Between 1975 and 1998, the commune was part of the Łomża Voivodeship. The commune covers an area of 89.13 km², of which 79% is agricultural land and 16% is forested, making it significant in terms of the region's agriculture. In 1921, the commune had 4,185 inhabitants, with Catholics as the dominant group and Orthodox and Jewish minorities. It is worth noting that residents declared various national affiliations, primarily Polish and Belarusian. The commune consists of several village councils, such as Białe-Misztale, Boguty-Milczki, and Kamieńczyk-Ryciorki, as well as many smaller settlements. Architecturally, the commune is not known for grand monuments, but its rural architecture and residential buildings from the early 20th century can be an interesting attraction for tourists seeking the authenticity of the Polish countryside.
