Bojanowo is an urban-rural municipality located in the Greater Poland Voivodeship, within Rawicz County, with its administrative seat in the town of Bojanowo. Historically, the municipality was part of the Leszno Voivodeship from 1975 to 1998. According to data from June 30, 2004, the municipality had a population of 8,939. It covers an area of 123.5 km², dominated by agricultural land (73%) and forests (18%), constituting 22.32% of the county's total area. The municipality includes numerous villages such as Czechnów, Gierłachowo, Giżyn, and Golina Wielka, as well as several settlements without official village status, including hamlets and forestry lodges. It borders the municipalities of Góra, Miejska Górka, Poniec, Rawicz, Rydzyna, and Wąsosz.
