Brudzeń Duży is a rural commune in the Masovian Voivodeship, located in Płock County, which from 1975 to 1998 was part of the former Płock Voivodeship. The seat of the commune, Brudzeń Duży, reflects the region's rich history, with numerous localities and architectural ensembles. The commune covers an area of 161.82 km², of which 72% is agricultural land and 14% is forest land, highlighting its agricultural character. In 2010, the population was 8,014, and by 2014 it had increased to 8,151.
