wikipedia
Collegium Da Vinci in Poznań is a private university whose history began in 1996, when the Minister of National Education granted permission to establish the Higher School of Humanities and Journalism (WSNHiD). The university was founded by Piotr Voelkel. Over the years, the educational offerings expanded to include numerous fields of study, such as political science, sociology, international relations, and computer science. In 2014, the institution changed its name to Collegium Da Vinci. The university employs over 400 staff members, including 300 academic teachers, and offers bachelor's and master's degree programs, postgraduate studies, and an Executive MBA. With a usable area of 18,000 m², the architectural complex draws inspiration from the historical forts of Poznań. In 2010, a new wing of the building was opened, and in 2022, eN Studios was launched—a modern facility for the creative industry, equipped with photography and audio studios, as well as coworking spaces. Collegium Da Vinci collaborates with over 200 companies and institutions and is actively involved in international academic exchange through the Erasmus+ program. Interestingly, graduates of the Executive MBA postgraduate program gain qualifications to serve on the supervisory boards of state-owned companies. The current rector of the university is Dr. Hab. Marek Zieliński, and previous rectors have included Prof. Dr. Hab. Waldemar Łazuga and Prof. Dr. Hab. Karol Olejnik.
