wikipedia
The Count Witold Skórzewski Spa Park in Konstancin-Jeziorna was established at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries in the English style as part of the development of the summer resort. In 2009, it was named after Count Skórzewski, the founder of Konstancin. Between 2010 and 2012, the park underwent revitalization, which included tree management, pathway replacements, the construction of footbridges, and the transformation of the Main Avenue into the H. Sienkiewicz Promenade. The park also features two new playgrounds and a renovated playground near the Zdrojowa Restaurant. Access to the park was provided by the Wilanów railway until 1952, and within its grounds stands a brine graduation tower built between 1974 and 1979. In 2014, the buildings of the "Przy Źródle" spa were demolished, and a modern Hydrotherapy Center was built in their place. The park also includes a boulder commemorating Count Skórzewski and a column marking the 100th anniversary of the summer resort. Additionally, there are dining options such as the Beza Café and the Hotel Konstancja. In the 21st century, an amphitheater was added, as well as a station for the Konstancin City Bike. In 2017, the park was expanded with pathways along the Jeziorka River, where one hundred oak trees were planted to commemorate the centenary of the spa, forming the "Memorial Avenue." The "Professor Jan Haftka Boulevard" was also established. The park is rich in architectural and cultural aspects, attracting both residents and tourists.
