Działoszyce is an urban-rural commune in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, within Pińczów County. Between 1975 and 1998, it belonged to the former Kielce Voivodeship. The seat of the commune is the town of Działoszyce. According to data from June 2004, the commune had a population of 5,736. Covering an area of 105.48 km², the land is predominantly agricultural, accounting for 82% of the total area, with forests making up 12%. Działoszyce Commune is a small administrative unit, constituting 17.25% of Pińczów County's area.
The commune includes several village administrations (sołectwa), such as Biedrzykowice, Bronocice, Chmielów, Dębiany, Kujawki, and Wola Knyszyńska, as well as settlements without formal village status, like Gołębiówka.
