The Orły Commune, located in the Podkarpackie Voivodeship within the Przemyśl County, covers an area of 70.07 km², accounting for 5.8% of the county's total area. The seat of the commune is Orły, and its boundaries include numerous villages, such as Ciemięrzowice, Duńkowiczki, and Zadąbrowie. The commune borders the municipalities of Żurawica, Stubno, Radymno, and Chłopice, and its location 10 km north of Przemyśl makes it an attractive area for investment. In particular, Zadąbrowie features a 40-hectare plot designated for service and production investments, which is part of the Tarnobrzeg Special Economic Zone. The commune promotes these areas to combat unemployment, and their advantageous location near major roads and border crossings enhances their appeal. From a historical perspective, the commune attracts military enthusiasts, primarily due to the fortifications of the Przemyśl Fortress, including the Double-Rampart Fort and the Miedzypola Redoubt, which date back to around 1880. Fort XI from World War I is a valuable regional monument. Additionally, the commune boasts rich natural resources, with 88% of its area dedicated to agricultural land and 2% to forested land. Notably, in 2008, the investment plot in Zadąbrowie received the title of Laureate in the nationwide competition "Grunt na medal." The commune maintains rural traditions, attracting both tourists and investors while providing a solid foundation for future development.
