Grójec

Grójec is an urban-rural municipality located in the Masovian Voivodeship, within Grójec County, with its administrative seat in the town of Grójec itself. The municipality has a rich agricultural tradition, which is reflected in its land use structure, where agricultural land occupies as much as 77% of its total area of 120.64 km². The history of Grójec dates back to medieval times, and the town gained importance due to its location and trade. It is also worth mentioning that until 1954, Grójec was a town and the municipality of Kobylin, which testifies to its development over the years. From 1975 to 1998, the municipality was part of the Radom Voivodeship.
