Kurzętnik

The municipality of Kurzętnik, located in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in Nowe Miasto County, has a rich history and diverse land structure. Between 1975 and 1998, it was part of the Toruń Voivodeship. Its seat is the town of Kurzętnik, and the municipality covers an area of 149.86 km², of which 71% is agricultural land and 17% is forest land. Kurzętnik is a place of demographic significance, inhabited by 9,145 people as of December 31, 2017, with a slight decrease to 9,111 people in 2019. The municipality consists of numerous village administrative units, such as Bratuszewo, Brzozie Lubawskie, and Kamionka, as well as non-administrative villages like Kacze Bagno and Rygiel. The municipality borders several other municipalities, including Biskupiec and Nowe Miasto Lubawskie.
