Nowomiejski County, located in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, was established in 1948 as the successor to the Lubawa County and was re-established in 1999. Its seat is the town of Nowe Miasto Lubawskie. The county is home to over 43,000 people across 101 localities.
