The Museum of the Torzym Land in Ośno Lubuskie is a municipal cultural institution located in a historic town hall, which found its home in 2002 by taking over the premises of the former police station. The museum was established to collect and preserve exhibits related to the history of the Torzym Land and the town of Ośno. Among its collections, the museum boasts rich ceramic artifacts dating back to the Bronze Age, as well as relics from the 2nd–3rd centuries. The exhibitions also include numerous prints, everyday objects, militaria, and a model of the town from the 13th–14th centuries, allowing visitors to explore local history and daily life. Among the materials on display, one can find not only utilitarian items but also information about notable residents, such as Oskar Dörfler, the inventor of baleron, which adds an interesting element to the local identity. The museum is open to visitors on selected days of the week, contributing to the promotion of knowledge about the region and its rich history.
