Ośno Lubuskie is an urban-rural municipality in the Lubuskie Voivodeship, within the Słubice County. Until 1991, it was known as the Ośno Commune. Covering an area of 197.97 km², the municipality features diverse terrain shaped by the glacial hills of the Lubusz Upland along the Łęcza River. More than half of its area is covered by forests, and it is home to 11 ribbon and kettle lakes. As of 2009, Ośno Lubuskie, with the town of Ośno as its seat, had a population of 6,353. The municipality also includes villages such as Grabno, Gronów, Kochań, and Lipienica.
