wikipedia
Młoszowa is a village in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship, within the Chrzanów County, primarily known for its historic palace and park complex. The palace, whose origins date back to the turn of the 16th and 17th centuries, has undergone several reconstructions. Its Neo-Gothic form was erected between 1859 and 1869 by Juliusz Aleksander Ozdoba Florkiewicz, making it one of the finest structures of that era. The palace is surrounded by a romantic park featuring numerous statues, including one of John III Sobieski and sculptures by Franciszek Wyspiański. The palace and park complex, listed in the register of historical monuments, includes a chapel, gates, towers, and a fence, with its surroundings still retaining the characteristics of a romantic English garden. The history of Młoszowa is marked by numerous changes in ownership, particularly involving the Florkiewicz family, who restored the manor's splendor after years of neglect. In the 20th century, the palace lost its significance, and after World War II, it underwent various transformations, including plans to house a school. Currently, the palace and park are owned by the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków, which is carrying out renovations to restore the complex to its former glory. The preserved architectural ensemble stands as a unique testament to the region's history, blending elements of Classicism, Neo-Gothic, and Romanticism in its design.
