Miedzichowo is a rural commune located in the Greater Poland Voivodeship, within the Nowy Tomyśl County. Its administrative seat is the town of Miedzichowo. It is worth noting that between 1975 and 1998, the commune was part of the Gorzów Voivodeship. At the end of 2011, Miedzichowo had a population of 3,684, and according to data from 2017, this number was 3,680. The commune covers an area of 208.51 km², of which 23% is agricultural land and 70% is forested. Miedzichowo Commune accounts for 20.61% of the area of Nowy Tomyśl County. The demographic structure of the commune shows an age diversity among its residents, as illustrated by the population pyramid from 2014.
