Miejska Górka is an urban-rural municipality in the Greater Poland Voivodeship, within the Rawicz County, with its seat in the town of Miejska Górka. From 1975 to 1998, the municipality was part of the Leszno Voivodeship. As of December 31, 2019, Miejska Górka had a population of 9,344. The municipality covers an area of 103.6 km², a significant portion of which is agricultural land, amounting to 7,908 hectares. The structure of the municipality also includes forests and woodland areas. In 2019, there were 916 farms in the municipality. Miejska Górka is characterized by a diverse landscape, dominated by rural areas with historic architectural structures, such as old houses in the Greater Poland style that have retained their local character.
