Mokobody

Mokobody Commune, located in the Masovian Voivodeship within Siedlce County, is an area with a rich demographic structure and attractive natural features. Its administrative seat is the town of Mokobody, and the commune consists of numerous villages, such as Bale, Dąbrowa, Jeruzale, and Niwiski. The commune covers an area of 119.17 km², a significant portion of which is agricultural land (78%) and forests (17%). According to data from 2004, the population of the commune was 5,343 people. Historically, between 1975 and 1998, Mokobody was part of the Siedlce Voivodeship. The commune is also engaged in international cooperation, with Kalveliai in Lithuania as its partner town.
