The Suchożebry Deanery is one of the 25 deaneries within the Roman Catholic Diocese of Siedlce and comprises 10 parishes. These parishes feature diverse architecture and histories, often reflecting local traditions and the cultural heritage of the region. Among them are the Parish of St. Apostles Simon and Jude Thaddeus in Czołomyje and the Parish of St. Nicholas in Krześlin, both distinguished by their exceptional facades and beautiful interiors adorned with valuable works of sacred art. The Parish of Our Lady of Częstochowa in Krynica and the Parish of St. Mary Magdalene in Suchożebry are deeply rooted in Catholic tradition, attracting both worshippers and tourists interested in Christian history and art. The deanery has approximately 20,042 faithful, reflecting the active involvement of the local community in religious practices and parish life. Interestingly, the deanery borders five other deaneries, which fosters cultural exchange and the organization of joint religious events and festivals, strengthening bonds between parishes.
