The Municipal Museum of the Strzyżów Land in Strzyżów is a cultural institution that was opened on May 17, 2014, as part of the Night of Museums. The museum was established by a resolution of the Strzyżów Town Council dated July 1, 2011, and took over the collections gathered by the Society of Lovers of the Strzyżów Land since 1959. Previously, the exhibits were displayed in the Memorial Room and later in the Social Regional Museum of the TMZS in the Dydyński Manor. In 2014, the collections were moved to a new headquarters—a three-story tenement house at 10 Łukasiewicz Street. The museum also has branches in a tenement house at Market Square 15 and in the Municipal Public Library, formerly a synagogue. The museum collects items related to the history of Strzyżów, including documents, militaria, numismatics, and memorabilia from the World War II period. Additionally, it showcases various ethnographic exhibits and items related to the material culture of the region, such as furniture, handicrafts, and agricultural tools. A notable attraction is the opportunity to visit a German railway shelter from 1940–41, which is part of the "Anlage Süd" complex. The museum plays a vital role in preserving the local cultural and historical heritage, offering a rich collection of exhibits that bring the history and traditions of the region to life.
