The Museum of Milling and the Village in Ustrzyki Dolne, run by Bożena and Janusz Bałkot, is housed in a former mill building from 1905, which before World War I served as a Drill Tool Factory. After the war, the facility was converted into a steam mill and ceased operations in 2007. The museum, opened in 2010, has preserved the original equipment used for grinding grain, including valuable 19th-century milling devices, with a 1930s roller crusher at the forefront. The exhibition also features roller mills, frame sifters, a huller, a brush machine, and a trieur. Outside, in the museum courtyard, visitors can admire historic agricultural machinery, especially that used for threshing and grinding grain, dating from the 19th and 20th centuries. The museum is open year-round with paid admission, and inside there is also the "Cafe in the Mill". The site combines architectural, historical, and cultural aspects, serving as an example of unique preservation of the region's milling and agricultural traditions. An additional advantage is the preservation of the building's historical context, making it an interesting place to learn about the past of the local community and its crafts.
