Nowa Dęba is an urban-rural municipality located in the Podkarpackie Voivodeship, with its administrative seat in the town of the same name. Its history dates back to the 12th century, when the village of Chmielów was established. The town's development is closely linked to the creation of the Central Industrial Region in the 1930s and the construction of the Ammunition Factory No. 3. Nowa Dęba was granted town rights in 1961 and has been growing dynamically ever since.
