Nozdrzec is a rural commune in the Podkarpackie Voivodeship, located in Brzozów County. Its administrative seat is the village of Nozdrzec. The commune covers an area of 121.62 km², of which 62% is agricultural land and 30% is forest land. As of June 30, 2004, its population was 8,582 inhabitants. It is worth noting that between 1975 and 1998, the commune was part of the Krosno Voivodeship. Historically, in 1939, honorary citizenship of the commune was granted to, among others, Ignacy Mościcki and Edward Śmigły-Rydz, highlighting the commune's role in Polish history. Nozdrzec and the villages within the commune, such as Hłudno, Huta Poręby, and Izdebki, reflect local culture and traditions. The commune borders municipalities such as Bircza and Dynów, creating opportunities for interregional cooperation and cultural exchange. Despite its small area, Nozdrzec has much to offer, both architecturally and culturally.
