The Museum of Polish Radio Theatre in Baranów Sandomierski, opened on October 18, 2021, was established on the initiative of Janusz Kukuła and Wojciech Ramus to promote knowledge about the achievements of the Polish Radio Theatre. The interior design was created by Marek Chowaniec, and the museum focuses on showcasing the history of the theatre and unique sound effects. Among the permanent exhibitions are arranged rooms dedicated to the radio plays "Matysiakowie" and "W Jezioranach," as well as the "Hulewicz - Kukuła" exhibition, which explores the history of the theatre. The interactive exhibition "Sonus ex Machina" displays Baroque sound machines, while the S1 and S2 recording studios offer a glimpse into the process of creating radio plays, films, and games. The museum building, located on Zamkowa Street next to a late Renaissance castle, is adorned with a mural depicting figures associated with the theatre, created by Rafał Mruszczak. The museum not only collects valuable archives but also engages visitors through workshops and radio play recordings, thereby enriching the cultural experience.
