Przemyśl Fortress Museum

The Przemyśl Fortress Museum, located in Przemyśl, was established in 2002 as the Museum of the Przemyśl Fortress by the Association of the 3rd Historical Galician Fortress Artillery Regiment named after Prince Kinsky. Initially housed in the Garrison Club, the exhibition moved in 2009 to the building of the Guild of Various Crafts at Katedralna Street. The museum focuses on presenting the history of the Przemyśl Fortress, which was one of the most important defensive structures in Poland. The collections include militaria, everyday items used by soldiers, as well as photographs and maps, providing an in-depth understanding of life on the front lines. An interesting feature is the museum's branch at Fort XV "Borek" in Siedliska, where large-scale exhibits such as an armored observation tower and fragments of blown-up cannons are displayed. The museum operates as a seasonal facility, open daily except Tuesdays, making it an interesting tourist attraction for visitors to Przemyśl and enthusiasts of military history.
